Who is FreshStart?
FreshStart Living
is an innovative property development company who purchase derelict or
underperforming housing stock and transform them into affordable
homes. All our properties are priced at below the market value
which means that you can get the best property for your money in great
locations.
Why do you offer properties so cheap?
We obtain our properties from banks who have experienced write-downs or from developers who cannot complete due to financial issues. Or we buy from the councils who are selling underperforming housing stock. The bottom line is that we buy our property at a very low cost for cash which means a low initial outlay. We then work with local businesses in the development process through to the property’s completion. We don’t work in high rise fancy offices that cost a fortune to run so we have little costs to take out there.
Our business model is all about offering affordable property that gives the investor a good return. That’s what people have asked for and that’s what we offer. Simple.

What can you offer me as an investor?
We can offer you properties in areas of high rental demand usually in city centre locations. We don’t offer luxury penthouse suites perfect for your average millionaire because that’s not what we’re about. We offer solid, quality investment property with general appeal to the public which are guaranteed to get you a good return.

calculator? You can input a few properties, either some of our properties
or others, and calculate the return you can expect from the properties in that
portfolio.
I’m a first time buyer. What can you do for me?
We offer a scheme to help first time buyers get onto the property ladder. If you can’t find a mortgage at 4% or less, we will offer you finance at 4% for two years. This means that as soon as the property is complete you can move in straight away and you’ll have 2 whole years to set yourself up and find a good mortgage.
What is the procedure for purchasing a property with FreshStart?
In order to reserve one of our properties you will need to complete a reservation form which will also include details of your solicitor/lawyer. Once this has been signed you will need to transfer a reservation fee of £3000 into our account via bank transfer which is non refundable. £1000 of this fee is to cover administration costs and the other £2000 will be deducted from the total amount of the property. Once we have received the funds into the account we will take the property off the market and you will hear from your solicitors with regards to your contract for exchange. Exchange will need to occur within 14 and 28 days of reservation. Completion of contract will then take place 14 to 28 days after exchange if the property is built or after the property completion date in the future. If the property is incomplete there is nothing to pay after exchange until the property is built.
